The project “We are chased by the Nazis with dogs” to present at the Presidential Library cinema club

On January 28, 2020, at 15:00 the Presidential Library cinema club will hold the presentation of the multimedia album of children's drawings entitled “We are chased by the Nazis with dogs” and the demonstration of the short documentary and animated film of the same name, based on poems by the six-year-old Alla Aizensharf, who survived the ghetto and horrors of war.

The Presidential Library illustrates rare documents about the Great Patriotic War, received to the institution’s digital collections. They include a unique album of children's drawings to poems of the Soviet and Israeli poetess Alla Naumovna Aizensharf (1936–2018), as well as its animated version. In full accordance with the spelling of the poems written by little Alla, the album is called “The Germans and the dogs are looking for us”.
