Scientists of the Sydney University have discovered an ancient city Mahendraparvata in Cambodia using lidar (laser radar). They used a helicopter for a search from which was conducted the scanning. Scientists have made an accurate map of the lost city, including roads, canals and temples, some of which have 1.2 thousand years.
