The Presidential Library published the diaries of the missing in action soldiers of the Great Patriotic War

Approximately 150 documents were added to the collection of the Presidential Library entitled Memory of the Great Victory in the year of the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

In the historical park of Novosibirsk "Russia is my history" a multimedia exhibition "Names of soldiers' medallions", dedicated to the missing participants of the Great Patriotic War, was opened. Today, their names and fates are restored thanks to the search of volunteers.

On July 20, 2022 the Presidential Library hosted a screening and discussion of the documentary "Praying for the Fallen". The film tells about the memorial church of the holy martyrs Adrian and Natalia, which is dedicated to the dead and missing during the defence of Leningrad from the Nazi invaders. The film was shot by the film group of the Presidential Library directed by Tatyana Dyakonova.

However, with any name, it remained the main centre of knowledge of the city.
