Details of the battle on Lake Peipsi are available in Presidential Library’s collections. Copies of rare editions that illustrate those events are contained in the special collection “Alexander Nevsky (1221–1263)” on the institution’s portal.

The map, also known as the Global Digital Elevation Model, was created on the basis of images provided by ASTER (Advanced Spaceborne Thermal Emission and Reflection Radiometer), a Japan’s scientific tool, installed on the Terra, NASA’s satellite.

The All-Russian contest "The Most Readable Region" will be held for the sixth time. It was launched in the Year of Literature in Russia. Ulyanovsk (2015), Voronezh (2016), Saint-Petersburg (2017), Irkutsk (2018) and Belgorod (2019) regions have been awarded the title "Literary Flagship of Russia" in different years. The contest's organizer is the Russian Book Union supported by the Federal Agency on Press and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.

The photo is actually a mosaic of thousands of different lunar far side images taken by NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (LRO).
