A session of the Cinema Club, dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia, took place in the Presidential Library on September 5, 2017. Future filmmakers from already gained reputation in the Presidential Library children's multimedia studio “M-Art” this time conducted a presentation of their multimedia project dedicated to the Red Book.

On March 14, 1995 the President of the Russian Federation B. N. Yeltsin signed a Federal law ‘On specially protected natural territories’. The law was adopted by the State Duma on February 15, 1995.
