Exactly 80 years ago - January 14, 1942 - the immortal poem of the poet Konstantin Simonov Wait for me was first published on the pages of the Pravda newspaper. A digitized copy of this issue is presented in the collections of the Presidential Library and today is available to everyone from anywhere in the world.

In the most difficult first winter of the front, he presented his people with the poem "Wait for me", which later will be called "soldier's prayer".
