World Culture: State Hermitage Museum launched "After Raphael. 1520–2020" exhibition

On December 10, 2020, the exhibition "After Raphael. 1520–2020" began its run in the state rooms of the Winter Palace’s Neva Enfilade. It marks the 500th anniversary of the death of Raffaello Santi (1483–1520) and is devoted to the phenomenon of his influence on European art from the XVI century to the present day.

On December 15, 2022, the research exhibition In Search of Folk Art, timed to coincide with the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia and the 100th anniversary since the formation of the USSR, opens in the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve (Moscow). Curators of the project present the phenomenon of “folk art” as a grandiose socio-artistic experiment and offer their explanation of the reasons for its decline.

From October 24th to 25th, 2024, the XI International Congress Library as a Cultural Phenomenon, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders, will be held in Minsk at the National Library of Belarus. A delegation from the Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation, led by Director General Yuri Nosov, will participate in the events.

2019 is declared the Year of Theatre in Russia. It is worth noting that the theatre in Russia is a unique and original phenomenon that has no analogues in the world. And although its history over recent decades has been studied well, its origins that go back centuries still remain unknown to many people. It is the Presidential Library that makes the difference. Its collections consist of electronic copies of unique publications that provide the study into the history of Russian theater.
