Internet and History of Moscow: Documents on unrealized Soviet buildings in Moscow available online

The website of the Moscow's Main Archives (cgamos.ru) in the Unique Documents section releases 47 drawings, 89 photographs and 39 pages of text documents of three unrealized projects of the Soviet period: the eighth Stalin skyscraper, the Pantheon and the Kolhoznik's House on Kalanchevskaya Street. These documents allow imagining the capital's views as if these buildings were constructed.

It is available in the virtual museum Moscow – Caring for History in the 1950s-2000s Hall, through the Media Library section, and then the Exhibitions section. The exposition features about 50 photographs, depicting Moscow boulevards of the 1960s.

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) has announced that the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation has chosen Science Classic (digital archive of journal’s articles spanning the period between 1880 and 1996) to be its first acquisition as a part of a large-scale project which aims to provide a nationwide access to academic archives.

Russia has officially become a contender for the World Universal Exhibition EXPO 2025. Yekaterinburg was chosen as the candidate from the Russian Federation.
