The Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Copenhagen on May 17, 2013 hosted the opening of the book-historical exhibition “Forgotten and unknown Russia”, dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty.

The exhibition Photography in Astrakhan has opened in the Astrakhan Local History Museum. 2023 is an anniversary year for several well-known Astrakhan studios and photographers. Over a hundred photographers worked in Astrakhan Region from 1861 to 1920, half of them – in the city itself. Thirty photographers were widely known far beyond the region.

A unique study on the history of comics enriched the Presidential Library’s collections

The Russian drawn story which history goes back several centuries, remains unknown for many people. Irina Antanasievich, Doctor of Philology of the University of Belgrade (Serbia), clarified a question. She donated a unique book to the Presidential Library’s collection, the fruit of a long-term study - Russian Comics of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (2018).
