Information Technology and Culture: Novgorod Region to launch six virtual concert halls on the International Music Day

Novgorod Region has been participating in the federal project "Digital Culture" of the national project "Culture" since 2019. Within the first project year, Veliky Novgorod, Pestov and Kholm opened virtual concert halls in three cultural institutions. This year, six more cities joined the virtual concert network - Borovichi, Staraya Russa, Valdai, Soltsy, Malaya Vishera, Okulovka. The opening ceremony will take place on International Music Day, October 1.

IT and Culture: Six virtual concert halls to be inaugurated in Novgorod Region in 2020

Next year 4.7 million roubles will be allocated to Novgorod Region for the foundation of virtual concert halls. Applications from 6 towns of the region have become winners of the contest, which was held as part of the “Culture” national project. Multimedia equipment will be installed in Borovichi, Malaya Vishera, Okulovka, Soltsy, Staraya Russa and Valdai.
