Specialists of the Regional Centre of the Presidential Library based on the V. G. Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library held a literary quiz "Pushkin-marathon" for students of the Yekaterinburg Suvorov Military School.

The Presidential Library is taking part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Rumyantsev Readings", which is being held in the Russian State Library from 22 to 24 April 2025.

On April 24, 2025, at 10:00, the Presidential Library will host the Third Annual scientific and practical conference Promotion of National Cultural Heritage in the electronic environment: the contribution of cultural institutions to the formation of a reliable memory of the Great Victory. The event was organized by the Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President of the Russian Federation and the Russian Military Historical Society.

From March 7 to June 30, 2025, the Presidential Library is accepting term papers, final qualifying papers, articles, reports and other research materials for the student work contest.

On 21 April 2025, in the Pillar Hall of the Presidential Library, which is located in the historic building of the Synod, a grand ball of the Gorchakov Lyceum of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation was held.

On May 14, 2025 specialists of the Presidential Library Regional Centre based on the V. G. Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library held a regular meeting with foreign students from Asian and African countries. It was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Artek International Children's Centre. The event was held as part of the Russian Meetings project.

On April 24th, 2025, at 13:30 in the Presidential Library, as part of the Third Annual Scientific and Practical Conference Promoting National Cultural Heritage in the Digital Environment: The Contribution of Cultural Institutions to the Formation of a Reliable Memory of the Great Victory, a roundtable will be held. At this event, the official launch of the Librarians - Soldiers of Victory digital project will take place.

The collection is devoted to the schism that took place in the Russian Orthodox Church in the middle of the seventeenth century. The selection includes archival documents, biographical and autobiographical materials, scientific works, rare publications of the 17th-19th centuries, as well as abstracts of modern dissertation research.

On 26 April 2025 visitors of the A. K. Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library took part in the intellectual game "Facts". It took place in the framework of the action "Biblionight" and was organised by the Kurgan Regional Centre of the Presidential Library.

A memorial alley was planted near the Museum of the Mikoyan Brothers in Sanayin to mark the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. The participants of the action were representatives of the Russian House in Yerevan, the South Caucasus Railway, diplomats, servicemen, as well as participants of the "New Generation" programme of Rossotrudnichestvo.

On April 25, 2025 in the A. K. Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library, where Regional Centre of the Presidential Library operates, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "The Great Patriotic War: Lessons of History" was held. It was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On May 11, 2025, the Day of the Donetsk People's Republic, the heads and specialists of the of Presidential Library of the Administrative Directorate of the President of Russian Federation visited Donetsk and held a series of educational events in the framework of the programme "To the Heroes of Victory".

The Seventh International Historical Dictation "Victory Dictation" dedicated to the Great Patriotic War once again proved its scale and significance, gathering more than two million participants from all over the world. The dictation became not just a test of knowledge, but also a powerful unifying factor for people of different ages and nationalities, striving to preserve historical memory.

On 29 April 2025 specialists of the Presidential Library took part in the opening of the exhibition "The Power of Pushkin's Muse: Publications of the War Years". The event took place in the All-Russian Pushkin Museum and was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The Presidential Library's collection continues to be enriched with electronic copies of documents from the Museum of Obukhov Plant History (from 1922 to 1992 - Bolshevik Plant). The materials digitised by the Presidential Library tell about the work of the plant during the Great Patriotic War. Diary entries and photographs give an opportunity to learn how the factory workers lived and worked in besieged Leningrad.

On 5 May 2025, the Presidential Library opened the multimedia exhibition "Chroniclers of History. The Spiral of Time through the Lenses of Cameras".

On 30 April 1945, the Red Army took control of Ravensbrück, the largest women's concentration camp in Nazi Germany, ending the years of suffering of its prisoners.

The Kurgan Regional Centre of the Presidential Library, based on the A. K. Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library, was visited by representatives of Vargashinsky secondary school, where the Presidential Library's electronic reading room was opened.

Featured selection includes the research works, essays, reviews and reports, archival documents, visual materials, reflecting certain aspects of socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the Ivanovo Oblast in the period of the XVIII-XX centuries. The effective Charter of the Ivanovo Oblast is presented as well.

7 May (25 April Old Style) 1840 in the small town of Votkinsk, Vyatka governorate, in the family of a mining engineer, head of the Kamsko-Votkinsk plant, was born Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.

On 7 May 2025 at 11:00 the Presidential Library will host a gala event dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The concert is traditionally organised by the Administration of the Admiralty District of St. Petersburg and the Presidential Library.

On April 23, 2025 the Presidential Library Regional Center in Altai Krai, operating on the basis of the Shishkov Altai Krai Universal Scientific Library, became a participant of the international teleconference Monuments of the Great Victory.
