Concert marking the 75th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade to be held in the Presidential Library

January 21, 2019, at 16:00, the Presidential Library will host a concert of the Model Military Band of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, timed to the 75th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade, for veterans and military personnel of the National Guard.

The orchestra conducted by the head of the military orchestra department - the chief military conductor of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of Russia, Colonel Vladimir Vasyak is considered one of the best military music artistic and creative teams.

Created in 1956 and being the successor of the Military Band of the Interior Forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR, for many years this team has been conducting extensive concert and educational work and is actively involved in military-patriotic education.

The performing abilities of the National Guard Band are wide. It is available both a major form of work, and miniatures, it can also accompany the solo singer or instrumentalist, brilliantly perform the service-combat repertoire.

The event will be broadcasted live on the Presidential Library’s portal in “Live Broadcasts” section.
