More than 500 foreign schoolchildren and students became finalists of the Presidential Library’s Olympiad
The final stage of the annual interactive Olympiad of the Presidential Library "Russia in the Electronic World" on the subject "Russian as a Foreign Language" takes place from March 29 to March 31, 2021. It is attended by 509 schoolchildren and students from 30 countries: Great Britain, Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire (a state in West Africa), Croatia, Romania and others. The lists of finalists are published on the Olympiad’s website.

The Presidential Library’s new film tells about the frescoes of the icon painter Dionysius
March 26, 2021 at 12:00 the Presidential Library's portal in Live broadcasts section and on the institution's YouTube channel will be broadcasting the premiere of the film "The Saved Frescoes of the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin of the Ferapontov Monastery", filmed in Vologda Region by the library's film group.
Two centuries of Russian music exhibited at the Presidential Library
From March 24 until June 24, 2021, at the Presidential Library (Senate Square, 3) runs the exhibition “History of the Philharmonic Society in the Collection of the Musical Library. Marking the 100th anniversary of the Dmitry Shostakovich St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic". On May 13, 1921 the first philharmonic society in our country (Petrograd by that time) was established. The first concert took place on June 12.

March 23, 2021, 11:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library will host a video lecture entitled “Traditions and Innovations in the Development of the Emancipation Reform of 1861” as part of the Knowledge of Russia project. Agreement on cooperation between the institution and the Office of the North-Western Order of the Red Star of the District of the National Guard of the Russian Federation will be signed at the Presidential Library (Senate Square, 3) on March 22, 2021 at 12:00.

The Presidential Library to tell how to apply to state and local government bodies
March 19, 2021, at 11:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library will host a video lecture entitled "The Constitutional Right of Citizens of the Russian Federation to Apply to State and Local Government Bodies" as part of the Knowledge of Russia project. The event will be the second in the series of lectures "A man, his rights and freedoms - the highest constitutional value".

March 16-18, 2021 the third, the final stage of the eleventh annual interactive Olympiad of the Presidential Library for schoolchildren Russia in the Electronic World in history, social studies and the Russian language will take place in full-time format.
