Society and Culture: Exhibition “Kustodiev. Soviet period” mounted in Astrakhan

On October 11, 2018 the B. M. Kustodiev House Museum in Astrakhan is launching the exhibition “Kustodiev. Soviet period”, dedicated to 140th anniversary of the birth of the artist. Boris Kustodiev was a famous professional artist when he witnessed the revolution of 1917. His pre-revolutionary works illustrated that he supported revolutionary ideals and took an interest in events of 1905 and February of 1917. On display are 30 works of Boris Kustodiev on loan from the Astrakhan Art Gallery.
