Internet and Museums: #MuseumWeek project underway on social media websites

#MuseumWeek is taking place from May 13 to May 19, 2019 on all social media websites across the world. The project features 7 hashtags, specially generated for the 6th virtual museum week. By promoting diversity, originality and creativity this unique international event will increase traffic to websites of cultural institutions and attract new public to museums. The aim of the project is to encourage amateurs and professionals to create interesting cultural content, raise their profiles in social media, open up internationally and attract new visitors.
