9 March 2012

At the end of February 2012, Google announced the launch of the Street View on Google Maps for Moscow and St. Petersburg.

As part of this partner program Google provides unique shooting in the territory of the unique world sites, including the "Tsaritsyno" Museum.

We are delighted to join this ambitious project. For us, this is a great opportunity to show people who, for various reasons, are unable to visit "Tsaritsyno", how interesting and diverse our museum is. Henceforth, foreigners and inhabitants of our country at any time will be able to appreciate its greatness and beauty," said Director General of the State Museum "Tsaritsyno", Aleksandr Bezrukov.

In order to view panoramic pictures of any place of "Tsaritsyno", you can either enlarge your map as much as possible, or drag the "orange man" from the scale to the route of interest to the visitor - then you can start a virtual tour. You can now view and appreciate the neighborhood of Tsaritsyno landscape park or select the sights of the museum.

Panoramas will also be available in the Google Navigation for smart phones based on Android. Now users can see directly from their mobile phone turns and junctions of park alleys and choose their destination.
