Warsaw hosted the final of the XXXIII All-Polish contest for readers of poetry and prose of A. S. Pushkin and A. Mickiewicz "Pushkinians-2018". 69 pupils from schools of various provinces of the Republic of Poland reached the finals.

The ceremony of awarding the best readers will be held on June 4, 2018 in the museum building of A. Mickiewicz in Warsaw. The absolute winner of the contest together with his mentor will have an opportunity to take a free internship at the Pushkin Russian State Institute of Russian Language in July 2018.

The organizers of the contest are the Association for Cooperation "Poland - East" and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Warsaw. By tradition, "Pushkiniana" is held under the patronage of the Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language (Moscow) with the support of the Polish Association of Lecturers and Teachers of the Russian Language.

The Presidential Library portal features the electronic collection "A. S. Pushkin (1799-1837)" which includes digital copies of books, articles, archival documents, abstracts of dissertations, video films, graphic and other materials devoted to the life and work of the poet and the activities of the state to preserve the memory of him. A great place in the collection belongs to articles from periodicals of the pre-revolutionary period, allowing you to see how the attitude to the poet and his work has changed over time. The materials devoted to the 100th anniversary of the poet's death are also of great interest. The anniversary of 1937 was carefully prepared at the state level, accompanied by a large number of publications addressed to different sections of the population and designed to make the poet-nobleman a part of the cultural life of the Soviet state.
