A lecture "Salvador Dali, or “Diary of a Genius”" was held at the Presidential Library Regional Center

April 8, 2018 the Presidential Library Regional Center, acting on the basis of the M. Gorky Volgograd Regional Library, hosted a lecture "Salvador Dali, or "Diary of a Genius”".

The participants of the event got familiar with the course of surrealism in Europe and discussed the life and work of one of the most famous and outrageous artists of the world, as well as his unusual pictures and eccentric deeds.

While preparing the lecture, materials from the Presidential Library and the National Electronic Library were used. The audience was also shown a video, telling about the work of the Presidential Library, and an excursion was conducted.

The collection "Volgograd Region Pages of History" is represented on the Presidential Library website. Studies, essays, memoirs, archival documents, official statistical collections and surveys, as well as magazines of district zemstvo collections dedicated to history, archeology, economics, demography and military-administrative development of the territories of the XIII-XX centuries, which are now part of the Volgograd region (the former Tsaritsyn and Kamyshin districts of the Saratov province), are provided.
