
Celebrations of Day of the Russian Language started in Kyrgyzstan
June 5 the actions dedicated to the celebration of the International Day of the Russian language started in Kirgizia.
Pushkin's day started at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bishkek with the school holiday "My Pushkin". Pupils of the 5-7th grades of the capital's schools became participants in the interactive production of "The Tale of a Fisherman and a Fish", recited their favorite Pushkin poems and got familiar with a book exhibition specially timed for the holiday.
On the same day, the winners of essay contests about the Russian language, as well as drawings of Russian proverbs and sayings from the gymnasium № 6 were awarded with book prizes from the Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Kyrgyz Republic.
In the V. Chkalov secondary school №2 (Naryn) was presented a literary and musical composition "Encounters on a bench" as part of the festive program, and a video bridge with secondary school № 9 in Gatchina (Leningrad region) and the performance of schoolchildren - winners of the Russian contest "Reading Country" were also held.
The electronic collection "Russian language" is presented on the Presidential Library portal. It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, scientific works (including dissertations and abstracts of dissertations), dictionaries and reference books, teaching aids. The digital collection "Russian language" will be cognitive not only to specialists in the field of linguistics, but also to a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
The Presidential Library portal also features the electronic collection “A. S. Pushkin (1799-1837)”. It includes digital copies of books, articles, archive documents, abstracts of dissertations, video films, graphic and other materials devoted to the life and work of the poet and the state's activity in preserving the memory about him.
