Commemorative library readers’ tickets, decorated in the style of the World Cup – 2018, are issued in Omsk

Omsk is hosting an action under the motto "Support our people together with “Pushkinka”!"

To the 2018 FIFA World Cup from June 26 to July 14 all new readers of the Pushkin Omsk State Regional Research Library receive electronic readers’ tickets with a unique memorable design. To get this exclusive ticket, it's enough to come to the library with a passport.

On the portal of the Presidential Library, a section dedicated to football, is presented in the collection about sport. The creation of this section is also timed to the holding of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. The section includes both historical and modern materials. In particular, the photographs showing the construction of stadiums in Russian cities hosting matches of the world championship are widely represented.

Thanks to the collection "Omsk Region: Pages of History" it is possible to get familiar with the region on the portal. The proposed selection includes studies, essays, reviews and reports, archive documents, visual and audio materials, reflecting certain aspects of the socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the Omsk region of the XVIII - the second half of the XX century. The current charter of the region is also presented.
