The IV Forum "Russian-Korean Practical Cooperation for Peace and Prosperity", where at the working group meeting the Presidential Library reported on "30 Years of Diplomatic Relations between Russia and the Republic of Korea: The Basics of Dialogue of Cultures" was held in Moscow.

The Presidential Library actively participates in strengthening ties between the two countries. According to Alexander Vershinin, diplomatic relations between the states were established on September 30, 1990. In November 2010, the "Dialogue Russia-South Korea" forum was established, which significantly contributed to mutual understanding and interaction of our peoples in the process of intensifying cultural exchanges in various forms, such as concerts, exhibitions, presentations.

Thus, on the Russian side, regular concerts were organized through the Ministry of Culture, through the Union of Cinematographers - film screenings and festivals that took place in 2017-2018; similar events were conducted on the initiative of Korean organizations.

Within the framework of the dialogue, new projects of multi-year cooperation emerged: a photo contest "Foreign View", which has become international and multimedia; program for studying and disseminating Korean classical literature on the example of creativity Pak Kyon Nee; documentary screening of the general history on the example of unknown events of the war in the Far East in 1905; projects to expand mutual access to information resources through telecommunications, etc.

These new forms of joint activity can receive an additional stimulus, providing appropriate state support - through the conclusion of bilateral intergovernmental agreements and the inclusion of projects in interstate cooperation programs. On the basis of systematic and regular cooperation of the parties within the framework of joint projects, it is possible to achieve significant rapprochement and strengthening of interaction between the two peoples, Korean and Russian.
