Photo exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of Russia opened in Baku

A photo exhibition “The Constitution of the Russian Federation: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow” was opened at the Russian Information and Cultural Center in Baku (RICC). It is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Basic Law of the Russian Federation.

Valentin Denisov, Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Azerbaijan, welcomed the guests of the RICC. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mikhail Bocharnikov, who took part in the opening of the exhibition, spoke about the role of the Basic Law in the development of the Russian Federation and the guarantees of the rights of its citizens.

Deputy Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, chairman of the Russian community of Azerbaijan, Mikhail Zabelin, in his speech focused on the history of the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.

The event was attended by representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan, deputies of the Milli Majlis of the Azerbaijan Republic, heads of public organizations, scientific institutions, teachers and students of universities, teachers and students of schools, as well as media representatives.

The Presidential Library portal features the electronic collection “State Power”. The structure, features of functioning, goals and objectives of the Russian state power are determined primarily by official legislative acts. The section “Legislation” of this collection contains materials on the history of the legislation of Russia from the moment of the emergence of the state, as well as the existing legal acts. Texts of legal documents are provided in various editions. Comments, materials on the history of the creation of individual documents and others are posted along with these texts. Special attention is paid to the constitutional acts, including the modern constitution of the Russian Federation.
