Round table on the development of the Union State of Russia and Belarus held in Minsk

A round table “Belarusian Statehood and Union Building” was held at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Minsk, devoted to the prospects of strengthening the Union State of Belarus and Russia.

The event was organized by the Belarusian public association "Rus".

Capital scientists, political scientists, public figures took part in the round table.

The discussion was opened by the deputy head of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Belarus Leonid Makurov, who noted that the creation of the Union State of Belarus and Russia is in the interests of the two peoples.

The topic was supported by Doctor of Philosophy Lev Krishtapovich, Doctor of Historical Sciences Vladimir Kozlyakov, political scientist Alexey Dzermant, chairman of the youth social and cultural public association “Young Rus’” Sergey Lush, chairman of the BOOO “Rus” Ivan Korda and other experts. The main idea of ​​all the speeches is the need for close cooperation between the two Slavic peoples.

For many centuries, the history of Belarus has been inextricably linked with the history of Russia. Various aspects of the life of this country from the 16th to the beginning of the 20th century are reflected in official documents, editions of historical and legal nature, spiritual literature, essays, memoirs, ethnographic collections, as well as visual and cartographic materials included in the proposed selection of materials.
