Multimedia lesson marking the fifth anniversary of the reunion of Crimea and Russia took place in Kurgan

March 18, 2019 the Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Research Library held for pupils of school № 29 a multimedia lesson "Russia and Crimea: Together Forever" dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the reunion of Crimea and Russia.

The aim of the lesson was the formation of a holistic view among schoolchildren of the inseparable historical connection of the multi-ethnic population of the peninsula and the peoples of our country.

In the course of the event, the guys learned about events of different eras related to Crimea, the region’s relations with Russia, and also got familiar with the collections “Crimea in Postcards” and “Republic of Crimea: Pages of History” presented on the Presidential Library’s portal.  

The Presidential Library’s portal provides access to the Kurgan Region: Pages of History collection. It includes studies, statistical essays, archival documents, cartographic and photographic materials of the XIX - early XXI century, featuring the administrative, socio-economic, geographical position of Kurgan and Shadrinsk counties, the territory of which forms the basis of the modern Kurgan Region.
