Webinar "Municipal Library: Restart" held in Penza Region

On March 22, 2019, employees of the Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library and the Legal Information Center held a webinar "Municipal Library: Restart" for library staff in the Kuznetsk District of Penza Region.

In the age of rapid development of digital technologies, the concepts of "electronic information resources", "digital documents", and "electronic libraries" are increasingly told about in society. The latter have become one of the most sought-after Internet resources.

Employees of the regional center of the Presidential Library told about the nuances of working with the prlib.ru portal, focusing on resources for schoolchildren of different ages. In particular, they talked about the new informational and educational project “Gosudarika”, where anyone can get familiar with the main sources on the history of the Russian statehood and books on the Russian language.

The staff of the Legal Information Center held a practical lesson and demonstrated online resources with which you can quickly find and lend the reader legal documents. At the lesson, three resources were disassembled in detail: the information and legal system “Legislation of Russia”, which is intended for maintaining state information and legal funds, etc.; the “Legal Resources” section on the ConsultantPlus information retrieval system website, which presents reviews of new federal and regional legislation documents, analytical reviews and consultancy materials, as well as the ConsultantPlus website for student and teacher with unique tools for effective training of law and economic specialties

The Presidential Library’s portal features “Penza Region: Pages of History” collection. It includes archival documents, essays, research and statistical materials covering demographic, geographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of Penza Region of the late XVIII - first third of the XX century. The current Statute of the region is provided.
