
Intensive evening Russian language courses completed in Ulan Bator
March 22, 2019 in the small hall of the Russian Center of Science and Culture (RCSC) in Ulan Bator, a solemn ceremony of awarding certificates to listeners of two-month intensive evening Russian language courses was held.
By tradition, the courses were launched in January, schoolchildren of senior classes showed up to prepare for the qualifying tests for the right to free education in one of the universities of Russia. The contingent of students this time was distinguished by a diverse composition, it consisted of both high school students, students of Mongolian universities, and working young people who need Russian in their professional activities.
Within two months, Mongolian boys and girls studied Russian vocabulary and grammar of the Russian language, learned reading and writing, familiarized themselves with the history and culture of Russia, and also took an active part in all the activities of the Russian Center of Science and Culture.
Graduates were warmly welcomed by acting director general Tatyana Budaeva, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Mongolia, she noted the conscientious attitude to study, discipline and diligence of all students and solemnly handed certificates on the successful completion of intensive and evening Russian language courses at the RCSC.
The Russian Language electronic collection is presented on the Presidential Library’s portal. It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian literature, archival files, research works (including dissertations and thesis), dictionaries and reference books, textbooks of various types and levels. The collection will be of interest not only to the academic and educational community and linguists, but also to a wide circle of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
