Novosibirsk senior pupils got familiar with the Presidential Library’s materials

Specialists of the Novosibirsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library, running on the basis of the Novosibirsk State Regional Research Library, visited the students of the Murov Novosibirsk Music College and students of M. A. Lavrentiev Lyceum № 130.

At the school library of Lyceum № 130, the electronic reading room of the Presidential Library launched running, the regional center specialists provided methodological support to colleagues, helped to deal with the specifics of working with a new resource. In the course of the meeting, schoolchildren were told about the regional research library, about the Presidential Library’s collections, demonstrated electronic copies of rare editions, introduced Nicholas I’s personal notes, letters from Alexander I and Napoleon and other materials.

The Presidential Library’s portal features Novosibirsk Region: Pages of History collection. The selection includes books, periodicals, archival documents and graphic materials reflecting the geographical, administrative-territorial, economic and other aspects of the history of the Novosibirsk Region of the period of the XVIII - first half of the XX century, as well as the current charter of the region.
