Russian compatriots of Kyrgyzstan identified the main activities for the year

The XI Country Conference of Russian Compatriots living in Kyrgyzstan, under the slogan “Kyrgyzstan and Russia: Ways of Integration” was held in Bishkek.

The conference brought together more than a hundred participants, including employees of the Russian Embassy, ​​the Office of the President of Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Center of Science and Culture (RCSC) in Bishkek, the Foundation for Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad, the Moscow House of Compatriots, leaders of public organizations of Russian compatriots, journalists of local media.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Kyrgyzstan Nikolai Udovichenko, Head of the RCSC in Bishkek Viktor Nefyodov, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic addressed the participants with welcoming messages.

The delegates reviewed plans for further work and the implementation of tasks set during the state visit to Kyrgyzstan of the President of Russia. Issues of the life of Russian compatriots in the republic, the themes of promoting the Russian language and culture, the prospects for developing and supporting good-neighborly relations between the peoples of the two countries were also considered.

At the end of the conference, a resolution, which outlines the main activities of public organizations of compatriots of the republic for the current year, has been adopted.

The library's portal features the electronic collection “Kyrgyzstan: Geography, Ethnography, History”. It consists of studies, essays, archival and cartographic documents of the XIX - early XX century, reflecting the period of the country's entry into the Russian state.
