The Russian Center of Science and Culture in Nur-Sultan has completed the traditional Russian Education Week. It was attended by the Moscow State Psychological and Pedagogical University, the Platov South Russian State Polytechnic University, the Ural State University of Economics, the Siberian Federal University, the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia.

In the course of the large-scale campaign, almost 300 children from Nur-Sultan, Akmola and Karaganda regions were able to meet with their future teachers and communicate with them in an informal setting.

The head of the educational programs of the RCSC Yekaterina Malinina noted: “The presentation of Russian universities in our Center is a long-standing good tradition. We always follow it, developing cooperation with many universities. We are pleased that universities are willing to come to us, as interest in Russian education in Kazakhstan is constantly growing”.

Thanks to the project, Kazakhstani applicants and their parents had the opportunity to get familiar in detail with the activities of Russian higher educational institutions, learned about the main areas of training, listened to interesting lectures, and took part in master classes and trial testing for entrance tests. Senior pupils who showed high results received additional advantages when entered Russian universities.

The Russian Language electronic collection is presented on the Presidential Library’s portal. It includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian literature, archival files, research papers (including dissertations and theses), dictionaries and reference books, as well as textbooks of various types and levels. The collection will be of interest not only to the academic and educational community and linguists, but also to a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
