
The сenter of remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library opened in Tomsk Region
The Central City Library of Seversk (Tomsk Region) hosted the grand opening of the Center of Remote Access to the Presidential Library on December 5, 2019.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the executive branch, the media and educational institutions of Seversk, as well as readers and library staff. The ceremonial meeting was opened by the Deputy Director for Library Services and Sociocultural Relations of the Pushkin Tomsk Regional Research Library Vera Maltseva. The head of the Tomsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library, Yulia Dubro, also addressed the meeting with a welcoming speech.
Specialists of the Tomsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library introduced all those present to the resources of the Presidential Library and the possibilities of working with them. Everyone could register and become readers of the Presidential Library.
The Presidential Library’s portal features Tomsk Region: Pages of History collection. It includes essays, statistical and cartographic materials, archival documents of the late XIX - early XX centuries which spotlight demographic, geographical, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of Tomsk Region. The current Charter is also presented.
