National Day of Sverdlovsk Region held at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library

The National Day Sverdlovsk Region was held in the Regional Center of the Presidential Library at the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library.

The exhibition “Life of remarkable people: a biography of 130 years”, introduced visitors to the history of creating the exposition, showed rare pocket front-line publications, and focused on the series “Life of remarkable Urals”.

As part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in World War II, the presentation of the new book by Doctor of Historical Sciences Anatoly Kirillov “The Route of Victory”, based on archival and modern sources, was presented. The presentation was accompanied by the thematic exhibition “Ural residents in the fight for Victory” from the book collections of the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library.

Besides, the guests of the Center got familiar with the materials of the electronic collection "Sverdlovsk Region" on the Presidential Library’s portal and received advice on working with resources.
