Online lecture "The Life of the Russian language in Culture and Society" held in Mumbai

The Russian Center of Science and Culture in Mumbai, together with the Russian Language Department of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, organized and held an online lecture by Professor Vladimir Sinyachkin “The Life of the Russian Language in Culture and Society” for Russian language teachers in Western India. 

More than 25 people registered for the event. They are teachers and graduate students of the universities of Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Vadodara, Reva, a college in the city of Latour, the Academy of Defence (Pune city) and Russian language courses of the Russian Center of Science and Culture.

Listeners highly appreciated the professor’s performance, asked a lot of questions, and thanked for interesting and new information. It was decided in the autumn to continue the course of lectures on this topic.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the materials of the Russian Language electronic collection, which includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, scientific works, dictionaries and reference books, teaching aids of various types and levels.

Part of the Presidential Library’s collections is available on the institution’s portal and in remote electronic reading rooms located in many countries.
