The State Flag Day of Russia celebrated in Almaty

On August 22, 2020, a film dedicated to the history of the tricolor on the virtual site of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in the Republic of Kazakhstan was shown marking the State Flag Day of the Russian Federation.

The Presidential Library's portal features documents on the history of the Russian tricolor, for example, the work of P. I. Belavents "Colors of the Russian State National Flag". In addition to electronic copies of rare books, the portal contains audiovisual materials, for example, a video lecture by the candidate of historical sciences, executive secretary of the Heraldic Council under the President of the Russian Federation G. V. Kalashnikov. One can also learn more about the meaning of the official state symbols in the section "Symbols of State Power" of one of the four basic collections of the Presidential Library "State Power".

Only a part of the unique materials is presented on the Presidential Library’s portal and in the remote electronic reading rooms of the Presidential Library located in different countries.
