
The autumn session of the project "Breakfasts with the Presidential Library" has been over
Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based on the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library and the branch of the Presidential Library in Tyumen Region summed up the results of the interactive project "Breakfasts with the Presidential Library".
The autumn session of the methodological meetings "Breakfast with the Presidential Library" included five informal online discussions, practice-oriented webinars. They were addressed to representatives of the regional network, curators of remote electronic reading rooms, as well as specialists in the field of culture and education interested in promoting the information resources of the Presidential Library.
The implementation of this project marked the formation of the methodological cluster of the Presidential Library in the Ural Federal District. If the Tyumen branch since its inception has been a platform for advanced training of specialists working with the electronic resources of the Presidential Library, then the Sverdlovsk Regional Center develops areas related to media education for library staff and information promotion of the electronic fund through media technologies. This work took on a new dimension during the collaboration in 2020.
October 9, at this year's final interactive meeting, they discussed the creation of virtual exhibitions and the rethinking of exposition activities in the context of the current situation. Also, the results of the autumn session "Breakfast with the Presidential Library" were summed up, the vectors of interaction for the future were outlined and the key tasks of future joint projects were outlined.
The Presidential Library’s portal provides access to the current collection "Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History", which includes statistical materials, studies, essays and photographs of the 19th - early 20th centuries, spotlights the geographical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects of the history of the region.
