29 November 2020

New collected works of the Electronic Legislation and Electronic Library series have been published on the Presidential Library’s portal. They are available in the Editions section, which features collections of scientific papers and publications of documents prepared by the institution's specialists in cooperation with the scientific community.

The collection Law and Information: Issues of Theory and Practice from the Electronic Legislation series, which has been prepared following the results of the IX International Scientific and Practical Conference "Law and Information: Issues of Theory and Practice" held by the Presidential Library in the spring of 2019, highlights the current issues of improving Russian legislation and legal practice in the field of information legal relations. A number of articles are devoted to the role of libraries in providing citizens with access to legal information and problems in obtaining it. Special sections provide an overview of scientific projects of the Presidential Library in the field of information legal relations, translations of British judicial acts on the regulation of the right to access information and use of libraries, a review of a scientific publication and an overview of the international scientific-practical round table. The publication is addressed to everyone who is interested in the development of information law.

The collection Book Monuments in the Digital Environment from the series Electronic Library is devoted to the topical issues of the existence of book monuments in the digital environment, issues of their identification, accounting, registration and digitization. This is due to the fact that activities on the digitization of book monuments, included in the national project "Culture" since 2019, are actively developing. The collection mainly includes publications spotlighting the work with book monuments in national and regional libraries. The publication is addressed to specialists of cultural institutions and archival activities, teachers and students of higher educational institutions of the corresponding profile, as well as to a wide range of readers involved in the formation and use of digital content.
