Volgograd Regional Center of the Presidential Library held a webinar for employees of remote access centers

At the end of December 2020 the Volgograd Regional Center of the Presidential Library at the Gorky Volgograd Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a training webinar "The resources of the Presidential Library and technologies for their promotion".

The program of the webinar continued with a detailed review of the materials of the Presidential Library: a complex of digitized archival documents "World War II in Archival Documents", thematic collections "Prevention and Control of Epidemics in Russia", "Anton Chekhov" and "Sergei Yesenin".

At the end of the webinar, the experience of the staff of the Volgograd Regional Center of the Presidential Library was presented in the field of creating new interactive projects – network online quizzes timed to coincide with memorable and anniversary dates in the history of the country and the region, in particular, the quiz "Port of Five Seas" dedicated to the Volga Don navigable canal, quizzes "The House of Romanov in fragments and questions" and "The Battle of Borodino". In addition, the participants of the webinar were told about the possibility of using the video materials of the educational project "Documentary Series" FaktoManiya", which is published in the format of a cycle of short video lectures about the main events and the fates of famous people, for holding events of historical and patriotic themes in the libraries of Volgograd Region.

Today, Volgograd Region provides 17 electronic reading rooms of the Presidential Library, of which four are open at school information centers, one - at the university library and 12 - at municipal libraries.
