The online test "The First President of Russia" launched on Sakhalin

The online test "The First President of Russia", timed to coincide with the anniversary of Boris Yeltsin, has been launched on the website of the Sakhalin Regional Universal Scientific Library.

February 1, 2021 marks the 90th anniversary of the birth of the first President of Russia Boris Yeltsin. By this date, the Sakhalin Regional Center of the Presidential Library prepared a thematic test with questions about the biography and activities of the politician. It is posted in the Events section of the Sakhalin Regional Universal Scientific Library website.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Sakhalin Region: Pages of History. It contains materials on the development of the territory of the only Russian region completely located on the islands and includes travel sketches, geographical and historical descriptions of the mid-19th - early 20th centuries, as well as fragments of newsreels from 1929.
