April 20, 2021 several educational institutions of Kurgan provided lessons dedicated to the history of the Second World War with the participation of the deputies of the Kurgan City Duma Maxim Pivovarov, Sergei Bardin and Natalia Semina.

The Yugov Kurgan Regional Universal Scientific Library and its Regional Center of the Presidential Library have initiated the holding of the lesson.

The conversation with senior pupils was, first of all, about the importance of the historical truth.

The project "Lessons with the Deputy and the Presidential Library" was supported by the deputies of the Kurgan City Duma. Until the end of the academic year, such classes will be held in many city schools.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection about Kurgan Region, which includes studies, statistical essays, archival documents, cartographic and photographic materials of the 19th - early 21st centuries. It spotlights the administrative, socio-economic, geographical position of the Kurgan and Shadrinsky districts, the territory of which forms modern Kurgan Region.
