
The Penza Regional Centre of the Presidential Library launched a professional contest
The Regional Centre of the Presidential Library at the Mikhail Lermontov Penza Regional Library launched a professional contest for librarians. The jury will choose the best project on the topic "Training development (scenario) of a multimedia event for school students, created with the use of the electronic resources of the Presidential Library". The contest aims to popularize the electronic collections of the Presidential Library and create conditions for the development of creative talents of specialists from municipal libraries.
The general condition for participation in the contest is the mandatory use of the resources of the Presidential Library. Its collections feature numerous books, archival documents, periodicals, photographs, audio, video and other materials in various disciplines, including Russian history, the Russian language, geography, art history, etc.
The jury will select materials in the following nominations:
● Training development of a multimedia event devoted to a particular occasion or a significant date in Russian history, created with the use of the electronic resources of the Presidential Library.
● Training development of a multimedia event devoted to a person (statesman, writer, scientist, culture worker, etc.), created with the use of the electronic resources of the Presidential Library.
● Training development of an online event (quest, quiz, test, etc.), created with the use of the electronic resources of the Presidential Library.
The contest organizers believe that their project will increase the information literacy of librarians, stimulate the use of digital publications and the research activities of schoolchildren.
This initiative of the Penza colleagues continues a series of events by the Presidential Library, such as Our Region: Selected Pages of History, Regions of Russia in the Faces, Foreign View Multimedia Contest, a contest of student works (projects) using the information resources of the Presidential Library and professional contests.
