The Sakhalin Regional Center of the Presidential Library provides electronic exhibition about the Order of Alexander Nevsky

The Sakhalin Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Sakhalin Regional Universal Scientific Library provides an electronic exhibition Order of Alexander Nevsky - Order of Military Glory, timed to coincide with the 79th anniversary of the establishment of the award.

Thanks to the project, those who wish will have opportunity to find out the history of the special insignia, when, under what circumstances it was established, to whom it was issued, what changes took place with the order over time.

The documents presented at the exhibition are available at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, as well as on the institution's portal.

The Presidential Library’s portal features Sakhalin Region as a separate collection, which includes information on the development of the territory of the only Russian region completely located on the islands. The collection is presented in the form of travel sketches, geographical and historical descriptions of the mid-19th - early 20th centuries, as well as fragments of newsreels.
