Meeting of the Pedagogical Council of the Admiralteisky District of St. Petersburg held at the Presidential Library

Ahead of the Knowledge Day the Presidential Library hosted a meeting of the Pedagogical Council of the Admiralteisky District of St. Petersburg From modern educational strategies to personalized tactics.

According to the established tradition, on the eve of September 1, representatives of the district's pedagogical community held a conference to set tasks for the next academic year.

Vladimir Yakovlevich Khodyrev, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Leningrad City Council of Working People's Deputies (1982-1990), addressed the guests and teachers, teachers of additional education with parting words at the Presidential Library’s conference hall.

They greeted members of the Pedagogical Council and noted the significant contribution of the district's educational institutions to the upbringing of new generations of Admiralteys-Petersburgers, Head of the Admiralty District Administration Sergey Overchuk, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of St. Petersburg Sergey Solovyov, Chairman of the Interregional Public Organization Council of Rectors of Universities of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, Rector of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technology and Design Alexei Demidov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Municipal Formations of St. Petersburg Natalia Astakhova.

Addressing the audience, Sergey Overchuk especially noted the creative approach of the district teachers to work. “Love your profession, love our children and support each other in your difficult, but very important and necessary work. And we, in turn, promise you all-round support and assistance. We are developing, moving forward, but we also do not forget about the continuity in education. It is important to preserve and develop the best that the Leningrad school gave us. The Admiralteisky District has always been and remains the vanguard of St. Petersburg education”, - the head of the district noted.

The head of the education department of the Admiralteisky district Maria Mikhailenko made her report. The practice of educational activities was presented by the director of the gymnasium № 278 Valentina Shutova and the director of the school № 522 Yulia Elizarova.

Ethel Musil, director of the Palace of Creativity At the Voznesensky Bridge, spoke about additional education as a space for educational interactions.

Natalya Samonova, teacher of kindergarten № 39, winner of the city contest of pedagogical achievements in 2021, made a presentation entitled The educational potential of modern education: urgent tasks and effective practices.

The Pedagogical Council was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the meeting turned out to be bright, rich and very informative.

At the end of the event pupils of the D. S. Bortnyansky Children's Art School, laureates of international and city contests, performed musical compositions by Russian and foreign authors.
