Tambov Regional Center of the Presidential Library available in the project "School of Information Culture"

On September 29, 2021, employees of the Regional Center of Access to Information Resources of the Presidential Library based on the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library took part in the opening ceremony of the new academic year at the School of Information Culture.

The main goal of this regional cultural and educational project is to organize the independent life of students in the context of the digitalization of society, to help efficiently carry out high-quality search and selection of information in libraries, the Internet and other information resources, and competently arrange educational and research work.

In the new academic year, schoolchildren and students of the city of Tambov, teams of scientific societies from the cities of Morshansk and Zherdevka, as well as the Pichaevsky district of Tambov Region will master the program of the course "School of Information Culture".

For students in the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, it is planned to conduct practice-oriented classes "The Library as an Information Retrieval System". Pupils of the ShIK will learn about the functionality and principles of the information retrieval system of the Presidential Library, the Russia in the Electronic World Olympiad, the Gosudarika website and other educational and educational projects of the institution.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection History of Education in Russia. It includes books about the development of various levels of education in Russia. Higher, primary, gymnasium and female education are considered.
