Overview of the collection The Defene and Siege of Leningrad for trainees of the UVO police regiment in Yekaterinburg

The Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a meeting marking the Day of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege for trainees of the UVO police regiment in the city of Yekaterinburg.

Commemorative events marking the 78th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi Siege are being held in the private security units of the Directorate of the Russian Guard in Sverdlovsk Region.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the current collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History, which contains statistical materials, studies, essays and photographs of the 19th - early 20th centuries spotlighting the geographical, demographic, socio-economic and socio-political aspects the history of the region.
