Pushkin Day at the Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library

9 June 2022

Marking Pushkin Day several halls of the Lermontov Penza Regional Library and the Regional Center of the Presidential Library turned into a real Lukomorye. The guys from the summer camp of school № 68 were looking for "traces of unseen animals" throughout the library. They had to visit the island of Buyan, the tent of the Shamakhan queen, as well as Prince Gvidon.

The quest has been prepared by the specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library and the Legal Information Center.

The Presidential Library’s portal features a separate collection dedicated to Alexander Pushkin. It contains digital copies of books, articles, archival documents, abstracts of dissertations, video films, visual and other materials spotlighting the life and career of the poet and the state's activities to preserve the memory of him. A major place in the collection belongs to articles from pre-revolutionary periodicals, providing the attitude towards the poet and his work that changed over time.
