Intellectual quiz dedicated to Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin held in Penza

Specialists of the Penza Regional Centre of the Presidential Library based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library have prepared a virtual quiz Fascinating Pushkin. Anyone can take part in the event. The quiz will reveal interesting facts about the poet’s life and literary preferences.

The intellectual competition consists of 14 questions. They are based on the materials of the Presidential Library’s electronic collections, as well as on virtual tours to the Pushkin museums in Mikhailovskoye and Boldino. Participants who successfully answered the questions will receive a certificate of completion of the quiz.

The Presidential Library’s portal presents the collection Alexander Pushkin (1799–1837), which contains digital copies of books, articles, archival documents, thesis abstracts, video films, visual and other materials telling about the poet’s life and oeuvre.

The collection Penza Region: Pages of History is also available on the Presidential Library’s portal. It features archival documents, essays, research papers, statistical and other materials spotlighting various aspects of the region’s development in different historical periods.
