The winners of the all-Russian quiz-tournament dedicated to Peter I were students and schoolchildren of Tyumen Region

April 15, 2023 the quiz-tournament with the support of the Presidential Library "The era of glorious deeds", dedicated to Peter I, was held online.

The organizers of the competition were the Interregional Public Organization Association of Heads of Information Security Services, the All-Russian Public Movement of Mentors of Children and Youth "Mentors of Russia" as well as the PRAVOPORYADOK-SCHIT Foundation.

Students of 1-2 courses of higher educational institutions, students of 1-4 courses of colleges, schoolchildren of 7-11 grades, pupils of cadet corps and cadet classes, Suvorov pupils, Yunarmiya members, members of sports and creative teams, members of informal associations of the city of Moscow and others regions of Russia were invited to participate.

Tournament participants were able to learn about various options for searching for information and solving problems, learn more about cryptography and how to use it. To complete the tasks of the tournament, the participants turned to unique historical documents from the Presidential Library’s collections.

About 500 teams from more than twenty regions of the Russian Federation, Khabarovsk and Primorye Territories, Ingushetia, Buryatia, Republic of Crimea and Donetsk People's Republic attended the intellectual game.

The Ural Federal District was represented by more than 40 teams. The winner of the tournament among higher educational institutions was the team from the Tyumen State University "Outrageous Quartet", and among educational institutions - the team of the Kazan School "Preobrazhentsy".

The participants demonstrated teamwork skills, innovative thinking and knowledge of the history of the Russian state. Congratulations to all participants and winners! We thank our partners for an exciting educational project!
