Biblionoch-2023 held at the Rostov Regional Center of the Presidential Library

The Rostov Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Don State Public Library joined the annual educational campaign Biblionoch-2023.

A virtual quest Uninvented Story was held at the event. Its participants had to demonstrate knowledge of classical literature, as well as attentiveness and skills dealing with electronic resources.

The Uninvented Story quest is an exciting game in which participants must guess the plot of a famous work using electronic books and hints on computer screens.

It should be noted that the Presidential Library develops various areas of scientific and educational activities. The combination of innovative information and communication technologies, the latest methods of full-time and distance learning and major collections in the field of humanitarian knowledge make it possible to implement various competitions, Olympiads, multimedia lessons, video lectures, traditional and virtual tours in a new format. Here, the formula "unity of traditions and innovations" was successfully implemented, in which the latest technologies make it possible to present library information resources in an attractive format for the modern generation.

The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Rostov Region: Pages of History. It includes research, archival documents, statistical, cartographic and audio materials covering various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
