The Presidential Library invites remote access centers to join the contest

Since July 1 the Presidential Library has been accepting applications for the contest for remote access centers “Presidential Library. Regional Network - 2023".

The purpose of the contest is to motivate employees of remote access centers and promote the activities of the regional network of the Presidential Library.

The contest is held in eight nominations which include five main, two special and one alternative.

The main nominations will include “Person of the Year. The best head of the RC PL - 2023"; "Person of the Year. The best specialist of the RC PL - 2023"; "Person of the Year. The best employee of the Central Control Center - 2023" - professional achievements and successful experience in studying and using the information resources of the Presidential Library.

Marking the Year of Teachers and Mentors the main nomination “Person of the Year. The best mentor of the CRA - 2023” will be awarded to the best employees and partners of the CRA, acting as curators in the study and use of the information resources of the Presidential Library, as well as the implementation of various patriotic projects.

For the first time in the main nomination “Person of the Year. The best reader of the CRA - 2023" will be marked by users of the resources of the Presidential Library, who actively use sources from the library's collections, participate in remote events.

Special nominations are provided for evaluating creative works created by employees of the regional network.

As part of the contest, the results of the interregional educational project “Traveling through the regional centers of the Presidential Library” (2021–2022) will be summed up. It was initiated by the regional access center to information resources of the Presidential Library based on the Yugra State Library. In the special nomination "Cinema lens: a journey through the regional centers of the Presidential Library - 2023" video works about the regional centers of the Presidential Library, created directly within the framework of this project, will be evaluated.

Original posters prepared for various library campaigns and events, as well as spotlighting the activities and participation of remote access centers in projects of the regional network of the Presidential Library, are accepted for the contest in the special nomination “In the lens of attention: the best poster of the Central Control Center - 2023”.

As part of the alternative nomination "People's Choice Award", which will be held on the social networks of the Presidential Library, users will evaluate the best creative works in the special nominations "Cinema lens: a journey through the regional centers of the Presidential Library" and "In the lens of attention: the best poster of the Central Control Center", voting for favorite works.

Representatives of all regional centers and remote access centers of the Presidential Library in Russia and abroad are invited to participate in the contest.

To participate in the contest one must send an application and contest materials (separate attachment) at region@prlib.ru.

Contest applications can be submitted in one, several or all nominations at the same time.

Applications will be accepted until October 31, 2023.

Results of the contest “Presidential Library. Regional Network - 2023" will be announced on December 27, 2023.
