A working session of the All-Russian meeting of heads of regional centers and partners of the Presidential Library held in Tyumen

On September 26, 2023, the Tyumen branch of the Presidential Library hosted a working session of the X All-Russian annual retreat of the heads of regional centers and partners of the Presidential Library, which took place from September 23 to 29, 2023 in Tyumen, Kurgan and Sverdlovsk Regions. Interdepartmental partnerships were discussed. They also discussed the priorities of regional development of the Presidential Library.

Representatives of the Presidential Library (St. Petersburg), its branch in Tyumen Region, the Reserve Center of the institution in Moscow and regional library centers from the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, Republics of Altai, Bashkortostan, Karelia, Komi, Sakha, Khakassia, as well as Kemerovo, Kurgan, Moscow, Murmansk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Penza, Sakhalin, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk and Chelyabinsk Regions joined the event in person.

Representatives of Altai, Buryat, Volgograd, Kaliningrad, Kamchatka, Kurgan, Nenets, Novgorod, Orel, Penza, Pskov, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov, Sverdlovsk, Tambov, Tver, Tomsk, Ulyanovsk, Khakass, Chechen and Yamalo-Nenets regional centers of the Presidential Library also joined the meeting via video conference.

The Presidential Library, which has the status of the national library of Russia, is a national electronic repository of digital copies of the most important documents on the history, theory and practice of Russian statehood, the Russian language, and also a multimedia multifunctional, cultural, educational, scientific and information and analytical center. The materials of its electronic collections involves more than 1 million depository items which are available in more than 1,500 remote access centers to the institution's resources, opened in all regions of the Russian Federation and 34 foreign countries.
