International conference “Results and prospects for cooperation of joint scientific centers for the study and prevention of infectious diseases in Africa, Asia and South America”

On December 9, 2023 the International Conference “Results and prospects for cooperation between joint scientific centers for the study and prevention of infectious diseases in Africa, Asia and South America”, organized by Rospotrebnadzor, was held at the Presidential Library.

The event was attended by more than 100 participants: representatives of Rospotrebnadzor, ministries and departments responsible for the prevention and control of infectious diseases from the Russian Federation and more than 20 countries of Eastern Europe, Transcaucasia, Central, South, East and Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America.

The main goal of the conference is to analyze the results, assess prospects and strengthen international cooperation and the national potential of partner countries in combating infectious diseases, increasing the global preparedness of states for future pandemics.

Earlier, on December 7 and 8, 2023, the IV International Conference “Combating New Coronavirus Infection and Other Infectious Diseases” was held at the Presidential Library.
